Senior Network Consultant

Next Dimenension is currently looking for a senior network engineer/consultant who can start ASAP who can hit the ground running. This individual will become an integral part of the organisation and will have excellent career prospects.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Very flexible,
• Ambitious, and
• Understands the demands and pressure of a consultative role.
• Must be able to work in a team or on their own unsupervised and
• Must have the ability to learn new technology quickly.

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years experience in a senior consultative role.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills. This individual will need to effectively communicate with Heads of IT, Directors, CEO's, and everyone inbetween.
• An excellent understanding of Microsoft technologies at an advanced level. Knowledge of Novell and Citrix is desired.

Specific skills required:

• Microsoft Certified (MCSE 2000/2003) - Essential
• Microsoft Clustering - Essential
• Microsoft Exchange - Essential
• Microsoft IIS - Essential
• Microsoft ISA - Desired
• Microsoft SQL - Desired
• Microsoft Operations Manager - Desired
• Microsoft SMS - Desired
• Microsoft SharePoint Technologies - Desired
• Novell Experience - Desired
• Citrix - Desired
• Good backup skills (i.e. Veritas /Symantec) with accompanied hardware
• Good solid TCP/IP skills (Swiches, hubs, routers)
